This year’s group show, (dis)connect, is based on a theme which adheres to ArtsWest's mission statement, as well as an artistic response to the concurrent exhibitions at the Seattle Art Museum: “Andy Warhol Media Works” and “Kurt.”

AWAA member, Ben Brackin, has agreed to volunteer as the chairperson of the group show and will be the designated collector of all digital files and updated résumés.  Ben and ArtsWest Gallery Director Nichole DeMent will be working with each member to assist in choosing which pieces are on display.  Every member in good standing can participate, providing required deadlines are met:

  • May 1:
    • An updated résumé, artist statement, and any other promotional material due to Ben Brackin at brackin23@earthlink.net.
    • Your client mailing labels, Washington state only!  Please send either the actual printed labels, or email a list to be created at ArtsWest. (Hard copies of addresses on actual labels are acceptable.)
    • Your artwork inventory that lists title, size, medium, and price must be emailed to Ben or Nichole.
  • May 30, 10am: Deliver show artwork to ArtsWest.
  • June 10: Opening Reception (attendance required per signed contract)
  • June 27, 10am: Pick up artwork
